Cross Country

On the 17th of May 2013, the 4-7 students and two year 3 students attended Cross Country. Everyone succeeded and finished the race, it was very muddy and rainy on the track but people still tried their best. On the track the 4-7 students went up headlands behind the cane and we ran beside Liverpool Creek. The Silkwood Mena Creek Small School Sports Association did a great job at bringing together many schools. One of our Mena Creek students came second in the 3 km in the 13 year old boys race.

Secondly, Mr Maley did a good job at organising the cross country. He was very confident about students’ success. When we finished cross country day, he gave very good instructions and the students and all of the other people who attended and  followed the instructions well. Mr Maley did a very good job at instructing people to their race.

Thirdly, the day was a very good day because every student participated and put in their best effort. When there was an instruction, students and adults followed the instructions straight after. When the day was over, people left the area the way it was when we got there.

Over all the day was great success and all of the students and community members who attended the day had a fun day. Students were on their best behaviour and put in their very best effort.  That’s why they got the results they wanted!
